RANroger was born in Barcelona. He studied the professional title of classical music at the Barcelona Conservatory, while combining them with jazz and flamenco studies.

He studied Music Education at the University of Barcelona; body percussion at the University of Alicante; piano, recorder and oboe at the Barcelona Conservatory; "cajón" and flamenco flute at the Joaquín Herrera School; and voice at the Taller de Músics.

In addition, he has received continuing education in Music Education, Pedagogy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Choral Conduction, Rhythmic Dalcroze, Alexander Technique and Body Percussion applied in the classroom.

 

He has published 5 solo albums, 4 duet albums, 1 as a trio, 6 as a band and 12 as a collaborator. Of these, as producer has produced 8 full albums and co-produced 8.

As a flutist has participated in projects such as Urix (catalan pop-rumba), Dnoumale (pop, reggae), Leto (jazz), Tibicen Orchestra (classical), CMMB Band (classical), Neokam -founder- (neoclassical), Anthakarana (world music), Baraka (meditative), Kiano duo -founder member- (classical), Son Kaché -old Alegría Flamenca- (rumba), Makache (flamenco), Ulake -founder member- (rumba and flamenco), member of GAS (Sound Action Group) (experimental) and Agustí Busom (author, rock) .

 

He has collaborated with Narayani (meditative music), Shunia / Ravi Ram (kirtam yoga), Mariposa Lunar (ethnofusion), Sombras de arena con clave de sol (singer-songwriter), Israel Durán (singer-songwriter), Pigmy (indie), Sebastián Griz (etnorock) CrO2 (electronic), Abús (rock), Monica Green (soul), Discordian Community Ensemble (avantgarde jazz), Pantaleó (pop), Antonio Cortés (flamenco) and Carmen Valenzuela (flamenco).

 

As a percussionist he has worked with Urix and Íbvrido -founding member- (rumba rock) .

He has worked at UBS Music (Basic Sound Unit) as a founding member, musician and project coordinator for parties and ceremonies; and SensArt producer as coordinator, community manager and arranger.

 

He offered concerts in the most outstanding halls in Barcelona (La Cova del drac-Jazzroom, Razzmatazz, Luz de Gas, KGB, Apolo, Salamandra, Poble Espanyol, Mephisto, Be Good,...), throughout the city (neighborhoods, Generalitat of Catalonia, Barcelona City Council, Sagrada Família, MNAC, L'Auditori, ESMUC, Barcelona Conservatory, UB University, UPC University, St. Pau Hospital, St. Joan de Déu Hospital,...) and in Catalonia, Spain, Paris and Rome (Santa Maria in Trastevere and the Vatican, among others). He has inaugurated the Cryptshow Festival (Badalona, BCN) in 3 editions, playing live films under the direction of Agustí Busom.

He has been in the world of education for over 20 years both at school level, in leisure, private lessons, music schools, awareness, choral and orquestral conduction, workshops, teacher training, research, publications,... of children and youngs.

He has been an educator, monitor, choreographer, teacher and coordinator of various educational and artistic projects. He was also the coordinator of the Research Working Group of Music Teachers of Sants-Montjuïc of the Barcelona Education Consortium, with which they made 3 publications, creation of various teaching materials, presentation at the CEIMUS congress in Madrid and presentation and publication at the University of Barcelona.

 

 

Currently a freelance musician, music producer, technician at soundART and music research (acoustic effects, hybrid and electric flute).
